Biologique Recherche was founded by a family of French experts, pioneers in the skincare industry. Yvan, Josette, and Philippe Allouche, biologist, physiotherapist, and physician respectively, have combined their passion and expertise to write a unique and visionary page in the history of cosmetic treatments. In 1968, when the brand was created, the company operated as a research and development center with the sole objective of formulating products for professionals disappointed with the existing offerings on the market.

To put it simply, our skin can be compared to a house. If the roof is poorly constructed and cannot guarantee protection against external aggressions, all the elements inside will be subjected to stress and become vulnerable.

To achieve youthful, radiant-looking skin, we must first and foremost pay greater attention to the epidermis. The study of how the epidermis constantly interacts with the deeper structures of the skin is called "interface or shield cosmetics" and allows us to understand how cosmetic active ingredients can perfectly deploy their full effects from the moment they come into contact with the epidermal shield, without needing to penetrate it.

The skin is also a reflection of ourselves. Each of us doesn't have just one skin, but several. Its condition changes several times a day and throughout our lives. Each of us has a different "Skin Moment," which can also change throughout the day. The artificial division of skin into normal, dry, or oily is a poor physiological definition of skin condition and provides only a static image of the cosmetic imbalances of the epidermis.
